Overview
Most India-to-Thailand packages stop at Bangkok and the islands. This one goes north — into the mountains, the temples, and the Thailand that existed long before the beach bars.
You start in Bangkok with the Grand Palace, a Chao Phraya dinner cruise, and a Safari World day that's especially good if you're travelling with family. Then a short domestic flight drops you in Chiang Mai — a city ringed by 300 temples, famous night bazaars, and ethical elephant sanctuaries where you walk with elephants instead of riding them. Doi Suthep glitters on the mountainside above the city, and the Old City's lanes are lined with monk-blessed wristband stalls and ₹100 pad thai.
The final stretch is Chiang Rai — quieter, stranger, more artistic. The White Temple looks like it was carved from ice. The Blue Temple glows neon inside. The Golden Triangle viewpoint sits exactly where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet at the Mekong River. And the tea plantations in the surrounding hills produce some of the best oolong in Southeast Asia.
Eight days, three cities, one domestic flight, and a private car for every road transfer. This is premium Thailand — culture-forward, crowd-light, and built for travellers who've already done the beach thing.
