Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any travel package or service with DesiNomads Adventures, Treks & Holidays ("DesiNomads", "we", "us", or "our"). By making a booking or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Bookings & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment and issuance of a written confirmation from DesiNomads. All bookings are subject to availability. Verbal confirmations or discussions do not constitute a binding agreement.
2. Payment Terms
- Advance Payment: 50% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking confirmation.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 50% must be paid at least 15 days before the travel start date.
- Last-Minute Bookings: 100% advance payment is required for bookings made within 15 days of travel.

- Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS)
- UPI
- Credit / Debit Card (subject to convenience fee)
- Cheque (must clear before travel date)
All payments are to be made in favour of DesiNomads. A payment confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of receipt.
3. Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before travel: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
- 15–30 days before travel: 25% cancellation charge (75% refund)
- 7–15 days before travel: 50% cancellation charge (50% refund)
- Less than 7 days before travel: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Note: Cancellation charges for flights, trains, and special event bookings are governed by the respective service provider's policy and may differ from the above. Non-refundable components such as visa fees and special event bookings are not eligible for refund regardless of cancellation timing.
4. Changes & Amendments
Any changes to a confirmed itinerary (dates, destinations, services) are subject to availability and may attract additional charges. Requests for amendments must be made in writing and are effective only upon written confirmation by DesiNomads.
5. What's Included & Excluded
Each package quote clearly lists inclusions and exclusions. Unless expressly stated in writing, the following are typically excluded: international and domestic airfares, visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips and porterage, and any services not mentioned in the itinerary.
6. Private Tours
All DesiNomads packages are exclusively private. Your vehicle, guide, and services are dedicated solely to your group. We do not operate shared/seat-in-coach (SIC) tours.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and loss of baggage. DesiNomads does not provide travel insurance as part of any package.
8. Passports, Visas & Documentation
It is the traveller's sole responsibility to ensure valid passports, visas, and all required documentation are in order before travel. DesiNomads may assist with visa guidance but bears no liability for visa rejections or documentation errors.
9. Health & Medical Requirements
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake the booked journey, especially for high-altitude treks and adventure activities. DesiNomads reserves the right to deny participation if a traveller's health presents a risk to themselves or others.
10. Force Majeure
DesiNomads shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, pandemics, strikes, or severe weather. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives or partial refunds at our discretion.
11. Liability
DesiNomads acts as a travel organiser and coordinator. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or expenses arising from the acts or omissions of third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport operators, guides). Our maximum liability in any event shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveller for the package.
12. Complaints & Disputes
Any complaints must be reported to our team immediately during travel so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue. Post-travel complaints submitted more than 30 days after the trip end date will not be considered. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected during booking is used solely for trip planning and communication purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to fulfil your travel arrangements. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
14. Modifications to Terms
DesiNomads reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking governs your reservation. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
